Do you take insurance?

We accept most major insurance plans, including:

Do you offer financing?

We do not want finances to be an obstacle in obtaining your dental health needs. We have developed a number of options to help with the payment of your treatment. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, American Express and Chase Health Advance. Click on the banner below to apply.

Do you follow current guidelines for sterilization and safety?

Yes. We are up-to-date on all sterilization and disinfection techniques. We follow all recommendations and requirements as well as required OSHA guidelines .We regularly attend continuing education courses to update our systems and procedures for providing a safe and  clean environment for our patients and our dental team.

Why do teeth become discolored?

Teeth naturally darken as we age. Over time, staining may be caused by exposure to coffee, tea, soda, tobacco, and certain foods. Discoloration can also occur because of certain chidlhood illnesses, medications, physical truma, etc.

Why is it necessary to replace or save teeth?

Several conditions call for tooth replacement. As teeth crowd together or shift, plaque builds up more easily, leading to decay and gum disease. When teeth shift the upper teeth no longer correctly mesh with the lower ones, chewing is impaired and can create stress on the jaw and other teeth. Shifting can cause the face to change appearance. The lips may thin and straighten, the chin may jut out and upward, and pouches may appear on the side of the jaw.

What dental problems are common among older people?

As you age, changes happen to your body and it's no different with your mouth. With advancing age, you become more susceptible to conditions that can seriously affect your oral health. That's why it's important to understand these conditions and what you can do about them.

Gum disease is caused by bacterial plaque, is a major cause of tooth loss among older adults. Ill-fitting dentures, poor diet, poor oral hygiene and some medications can increase the severity of this condition. It's critical that gum disease is detected early because the longer it goes untreated, the worse it can get. To determine if you have gum disease, your dentist will probe to assess your condition. While scaling is the most common treatment, there are many prescription rinses available. Ask your dentist about what's best for you, and exercise proper at-home oral care.

What should I expect from my first visit?

At your first appointment, you will be given a generalized, comprehensive evaluation of your mouth. We will chart out a treatment plan which will help you achieve optimum desired dental health. It may be necessary to take a series of x rays to help us reach our diagnosis. After which a cleaning may be performed if requested.
